Weekly Services

Ginger Hill is a liberal religious community seeking spiritual enrichment from many different faith traditions.  As a lay-led church, our services are presented by the individual members of our congregation, meaning that we enjoy a wide variety in our worship, both in subject and presentation.  We do not seek to arrive at any particular group conclusions, creeds or dogma—we seek only to further the search for meaning and purpose for each individual.  We take pride in being a haven for open, respectful, interfaith dialogue.  Recent services have ranged from Easter to radical hospitality, from just war and peacemaking to a silent meal served in the meditation style of the Buddhist teacher Thich Nhat Hanh, from a blessing of the animals to a walk in the woods.

We always have a Christmas Eve service, beginning at 7:30 PM.  We welcome you regardless of age, gender, race, creed, sexual orientation, or level of ability.  Services begin at 11:00 AM and we have no particular dress code expectations—just come open-minded and comfortable!

Ginger Hill does provide for ceremonies celebrating life passages such as weddings, unions, or memorial services.  For more information on this please reach Rev. Thomas Bodie at 724-735-4880 or uutom2000@yahoo.com.
