Saturdays, Spiritflow, 9:45 - 11:00 am

* Cancellations in September:  Please note that there will be no Saturday classes September 4-18.

Join us as we experience the balance that hatha yoga brings to daily life.  The emphasis of the Hatha classes is on bringing energy and strength to the physical body, proper alignment in the poses, mental attunement to the body, the quality of the breath, and the release of tension.   Spiritflow incorporates a blend of traditional aspects of yoga. Mantra, asana, pranayama, and meditation are practiced, allowing one to tap into the spiritual beauty of yoga. Classes are geared toward all practitioners, from the basic beginner to the more experienced.   Equipment (mats, straps, blocks and blankets) will be available at each class.  Please wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely.

Continuing in Fall 2010:  Ananda Open-Air!

Join us on selected Thursday evenings as we engage in a blissful practice of yoga at Silver Wheel Farm, in Harrisville, PA. The body and the breath unite as we flow through poses sequenced to achieve stamina, strength, flexibility and overall physical balance to the sounds of nature. Mantra, asana, pranayama, and relaxation help practitioners attune to the energy of the body and the earth.  Farmers Lori Sands and Ben Shaevitz have cleared out two special places for us to practice, each with its own beauty, charm, natural energy and chorus of birds. In addition to the obvious benefits of yoga in the open air, a market table offering the freshest of the farm's Certified Naturally Grown products will be open for us to shop! Mindfulness Mornings

The Tuesday morning mindfulness group will not meet during the summer.  Check again in August!

H.O.P.E.
H.O.P.E. stands for Haven Of Pagan Energy, and is an earth spirituality based covenant group of Ginger Hill. Our meetings are on a monthly basis to celebrate the changing of the seasons through ritual, discussion and other events pertinent to the specific celebration. We bring snacks to share and often follow with a drumming circle.  You do not have to be a church member to attend.  For further information about dates, go to http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HOPE_covenant/.
